Italia! Italia! Italia!

Italy winning the WORLD CUP was AMAZING!!! I was partying in the streets with some fellow American girls until 4am! I got some italian guy to drive me around the piazza on his motorbike! There was a traffic jam so we started driving the wrong direction...it was awesome!

Missed the morning train to Bari to catch the ferry. Decided to spend another day in Napoli becasue there isn't anything in Bari.

In Bari now waiting to catch the ferry tonight. Met up with some fellow Californias and we're hanging together.

Hugs and kisses!

Il parla inglese?

Every conversation I've had today has begun with that and more often then not the answer has been no. Spent the day at Pompei and it was amazing...over run with tourists, but it's so huge, I didn't mind. I only minded whenpeople crawled over barries and stared picking up things...any archaeologist knows that is a big no no! It just erks me.

Tomorrow I am on my way to Bari in order to catch the boat to Greece!! YEY!!! Super excited about seeing Rich and having him take me sailing on a yacht!

Off to go make phone calls...mom..you better be home! Hugs and kisses!

Catch up! (part duex)

Alright...I'm pissed....I typed up this amazing blog yesterday fillling everyone who's anyone in on corsica, Barcelona, and London. Then my time expired right before I hit the publish button so I lost it all. Bullock, arse, and tits.

Therefore, I am going to give the very abridged version, as I don't have the time or funds to type it up again at this moment.

Corsica was amazing. I held a whole conversation in french about me falling on my ass in the river and having some pre pubecent girls giggle at me.

There was a load of ting tongs in out couchette from Nice to Barcelona. One dimwit got her purse stolen and preceeded to look through mine as if I took it. Basically I left my bag by my feet under the covers away from the door on the top bed. When I woke up it was on the floor open with the bitch standing over it. Seriously, a theif wouldn't go shopping through my bag, he'd just take it. And Manic thought it was odd that she said, "My purse has been stolen, you might want to check yours." Seriously, what would I do with an Asian passport...my American one is good enough bitch.

Barcelona consisted of walking around. The rambalas was amazing. Manic and I would stroll up and down at night and anytime someone would offer "cerveza" we'd keenly reply "non, gracias, les coucaraches, huevous, quesos, etc..." asking for rediculous stuff like cockroaches, eggs, and cheese. It was also quite funny when we cliamed not to speek english. Me...the whitest girls in barcelona, and Manic, the burly englishman sporting a union jack bandana, not speaking english...HA!

We then traveled from BCN to Dover in one day (approx. 1200 miles) and made our way to London. Rodger Waters was amazing. I plan on seeing him again on October 10 in San Francisco (at the Shorline). Tickets are only $26 on ticketmaster.com. Anyone who wants to join me...it'll be awesome!!! He played a 2 and a hlaf our set including Dark Side of the Moon cover to cover. It was amazing!!!! The Who were brillant as well, but nothing could hold a candle to the night before. Manic and I then spent the next two days doing touristy stuff....he had actually never seen his own capital, so I played tour guide...quite ironic. We met Chris for lunch, which turned out to be free because our meals were served to us cold...not once, but twice. Manic got on a train yesterday evening and I'm sad, but he's saving up money so he can meet me back in Paris on the 22nd, just in time for the last stage of the Tour de France on July 23rd.

Sorry this post isn't more interesting. The one I wrote before was a lot better, maybe I'll try to recreate it some other time. I'm in Roma now and have met up with another American, Kate from Penn State. She lived abroad for a semester in New Zeland and has been traveling since she finsished her studies. She's a huge football fan (AMERICAN FOOTBALL...sorry Manic) and we've been talking about next seasons prospects all evening. It's been great! Off to get a bottle of wine and chill at the hostel with my new friend. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!! Cheers!

A new Pink Floyd fan!!!

That's me! One word to describe Roger Waters: AMAZING!!!! The Who the next night were great as well, but didn't even compare. I already went out today and bought two albums. Manic yelled at me because I was singing Wish You Were Here too loud while he was trying to talk on the phone.

Tomorrow is Independance Day and I find it quite ironic that I'm spending the day in Britain...the very country we won our freedom from 230 years ago! I haven't been letting them forget it either...the brits don't seem to handle defeat too well. he he!

Wednesday morning I will be off to Roma and Manic will be left here in England to graduate and all that fun stuff, earning some money so he can meet me in Paris on July 22...just in time for the last stage of the Tour de France!!! Everything is well. My arm is all better, but now I am recovering from some badly scraped hands as those were what broke a nasty fall last night...I'm telling you...that pavement came out of no where!

Hugs and kisses all around!
